Put Sunflowers in your pockets
Excuse the language, but this will be quoted in the history books. What did you guys think of this moment?
Additionally, Americans are being encouraged to leave Russia by our government, U.K. is arming Ukraine. It's becoming scary.
The most concerning development is that Belarus has taken "neutral" out of their constitution and agreed to accept Russian nuclear missiles into their country. The also appointed their dictator of a leader for life.
That’s how Emma Ashford characterized Russia’s invasion last week of Ukraine, a sentiment echoed by other writers and journalists. Not a surprise. But that fact did not diminish the horror and shock of seeing a European capital under siege, missiles hitting residential buildings, tanks rolling across an open border.
I have nothing but respect for both this woman, and Ukrainians as a whole, their resilience in the face of Russia is nothing short of heroic. Considering the fact that Russian military has engaged in multiple war-crimes against Ukraine already, the fact that this woman was willing to voice herself TO Russian soldiers is amazing.
I truly hope the peace talks today go well, despite Zelensky's expectations of failure. Slava Ukraini
I think the Ukraine efforts have been some of the most (and excuse my language) badass efforts in modern history. When Russian warships approached an island off the coast of Ukraine and ordered the soldiers to surrender, the soldiers response was a resounding, "Russian Warships, go f*** yourselves." This impending war is sending fear to all parts of the globe, and I feel sorry for Ukrainians and Russian citizens that do not want a war with their neighbors. President Zelensky has acted so courageous, and I hope the violence against innocent peoples ends with today's peach talks.
Wow! That took guts to go up and confront an armed soldier. Definitely scary times. Hopefully, with the world watching and public pressure in many countries, there will be a peaceful resolution and a fast one. I just hope that the resolution is more permanent instead of just a temporary solution that may fail in a couple of years.
