Socrates might ask these people if, when they have a disease, they would rather crowd source their medical treatment to the average man or go see a doctor.
ReplyDeleteI don't think pure rationality is the answer either. People can rationalize anything, even ethical atrocities like we saw during WW2 with the Japanese medical experiments to further medical knowledge. I mix of rationality and empathy for what you are doing would probably give you the best results.
