Overall, I think the work that Darwnin did, and the discoveries he made were beneficial. Some people treat raw data from research as inherently bad when it doesn't suit their viewpoint, but as long as the methods of acquisition are ethical, numbers are unbiased. It is through the unbiased data of the world that we can go about making it a better place. The theory of evolution is debated still, but data is data. What we choose to do with that knowledge is up to us
