The Good Doctor

I've discovered The Good Doctor, in which "a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome uses his extraordinary gifts to save lives and challenge skepticism." Anybody else see Monday's episode? What did you think?

“It’s the truth.” 😟

  1. Do you like any of the other hospital dramas?

  2. There's a show on Netflix called Atypical about a teenager with autism. While his story isn't in a hospital setting, you see how he deals with autism in relationships with his sister and in trying to have a girlfriend. People are quick to assume that since someone has a disability, it means they aren't smart when in fact, "The Good Doctor" proves otherwise.

  3. DQ: Why do you think there's such a stigma behind Autism and other disabilities?
Is there a way to end the stigma so that there's a better understanding?
